Chalk Art, Craft Beer and Live Music Festival Returns on Saturday, Nov 13
[Nov 4, 2021 – Albany, GA] ─ With the 4th annual Albany Museum of Art ChalkFest only days away, the event is shaping up to be a fall “masterpiece” of a street art festival. The 4th annual AMA ChalkFest will be 10 am-5 pm on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021 on the 100 block of Pine Avenue in downtown Albany, which will be closed to traffic. Admission is free for everyone.
Adults, Students, and Children Can Participate for Free at Nov 13 Art Festival
Albany Museum of Art ChalkFest on Saturday, Nov 13, 2021 will be a communitywide event, and the call is out for community artists of all ages to participate in five amateur chalk artist categories.
“The big news this year is there are absolutely no fees to participate,” AMA Director of Education and Public Programming Annie Vanoteghem said. “Thanks to our Amateur and School Chalk Blocks sponsor Smile Doctors, there is no cost to enter any of the five amateur categories—Adult, Adult Students, Teens, Youth, and School Teams.”

[June 8, 2021 – Albany, GA] ─ European Splendors, Renaissance and Baroque masterpieces that will be on exhibition at the Albany Museum of Art, will be the inspiration for works created by professional chalk artists at AMA ChalkFest on Nov 13, 2021. The AMA exhibition of masterworks from the Columbia Museum of Art’s Kress Collection opens Aug 26 and continues through Christmas.
